With proper care and maintenance, the display surface will stay in good working condition. Use the right nibs and change them frequently before they are either worn down or to a sharp point. Do not use the flex nibs on any of the Cintiq displays since they are designed for Intuos tablets. Similarly, do not use the felt nibs with Cintiq 24HD touch, Cintiq13, Cintiq Companion.
