Although the Cintiq Companion has a powerful processor, it was primarily designed for mobility and long battery life, so it cannot replace a dedicated desktop computer in every respect: if it had been designed to do so, it would have been much heavier and had far higher power consumption. So while the Cintiq Companion will run Adobe Photoshop® Creative Cloud™ and other similar applications, software designed for 3D modelling or animation may have some limitations. The Cintiq Companion will perform similarly to products in the Intel® UltrabookTM family, but unlike laptop computers, the Cintiq Companion is designed for drawing, includes a professional pen, multi-touch and many time-saving features such as ExpressKeys.
